Hi Peter:
Its probably not explorer. Explorer is just the glue that binds Windows
together. You probably have a driver causing the problem. Try running the
system configuration wizard under start/programs/accesories/system
tools/system information and then select system configuration wizard from
there, and unchecking everything in startup.. This usually clears that type
of problem. Contact me offlist if you get stuck.
