As you mostly know I have been struggling witrh my F1 CNC for an eternity
this week, Some of the help I needed came from this group, finding this
group came from help from other people..... anyway the biggest obstacle to
using any CADCAM program had been trying to set up the software I was using
to post to the F1. By accident I saw this software while surfing EBAY.
Machinelink. SO being a sucker and desperate I downladed the demo thinking
if I coukld just get a program out of the F1 then Fred Smith with Vector
scould help me know how to set up Vector so I could send a program. Well I
did miss the EBAY auction by a few bucks, you never know it might have gone
ful price so a dollar miss is as good as a $100.00 miss, never know what
they are willing to go do we?? But I downladed the demo and it actually
within minutes was recieving a fe from EMCO. AND it was formatted properly.
WOW is al I can say. This program will let you use VEctor to speak to any
controller you have, Naturally this may not apply f your "CONTROLLER" is
your PC, but if there is some contrer between you and your CADCAM program,
this program is very handy. I admit I don't know anything and am bungling
along but this is as close to the "ANSWER" as I can thnk of. I was so
impressed I actualy downladed the full version at full price rather than
waiting on saome EBAY auction. Now I can use VECTOR, or Maybe the drawings
some of you sent me and send them to the F1. If you own a F1 or CNC5 I think
yu will savwe yourself a lot of grief by getting this software, I bet if we
aproached the company(I laready own a copy so nothing in it for me) they
would consider offering a group discoount if you are a member of ths group.
This is not a plg, I don't get any thing fromn this other than to say I
found something that has helped, Fred SMith has also been a big help even
