Well I was at the new Griz store in Pa last week and they have a nice
looking new mill. It is not on the web page or the current catalog. I
don't think it is the one you are referring too but am not sure. It
appears to be a bench top with a knee. It was painted Gray which was
very unusual for Griz. The tagged price was 19xx dollars and it came
with power feed on the x axis. Sure looked like a winner to me. I was
surprised that they didn't have a "A1S" model on the floor. Neither a
G1004 or G1008 so I am not sure if they are being discontinued or
not. I think the new mill was a G3001 but that is just from memory
and my memory isn't all that great!
The store is worth stopping if you are in the area. It is in Muncy,
Pa just of the I180 loop about 15 miles off Interstate 80. And just
across the parking lot is a large Gander Mountain store.
