And the next valuable piece of information you will learn is this:

Home Depot doesn't sell serious tools like end mills.

(Actually I take that back... Home Depot may have some little end-mill
like burs sold as dremel tool bits, but these will be too small for
the 6-32, you might be able to do the 4-40 in multiple passes. They
might have a counterbore though. Or you could get a cheap drill bit
to modify. You can abuse wood router bits for aluminum, not sure I'd
recommend it for steel)
