You guys are fast...yes the USA site is as posted. The distributor is in Dexter, Michigan (Siko Products, PO Box 279, Dexter, Mi 48130, 1-734-426-3476). The product line is called MAGLINE (micro, basic, and macro) and you would most likely be interested in the micro version. The resolution max, repeat accuracy max, and absolute accuracy max are 5um, 5um, and 50um respectively for the magline basic, 1um, 1um, and 10um for the magline micro, and 1mm, 1mm, 1mm for the magline basic. The rep thought a 3 axis system with three line readout would cost about $1k...however if one purchased just the mag-tape and sensors and develop their own readout or feedback interface it would be more cost effective. rfs.
