Ballendo,

Thanks. We do have isolation. We needed a step-down transformer to
get the right open-circuit voltages. BTW, we have 220V house wiring,
so, accidents ARE a problem. In addition to the transformer, we used
a circuit breaker for the mains. There is also a bleeder resistor at
the output which can be switched on to discharge the electrode. Hmm,
a voltmeter might be a good idea here, too.

The machine is running. However, we still haven't found the right
combination of settings to maximize material removal. Well, we should
be able to get it right within the next few days.

regards,

there is NO isolation from the power source. If this is true, Please
add an isolation transformer to protect yourself and others who may
use, or learn from your machine...

in many "popular ______" and "Mechanix" magazines over the years;
often referring to Tap removal. Most of these do not have electrical
line isolation; and they almost always have follow
up "corrections/mods" in later issues. Be careful.
