PJH,

How tall is a tree? How blue is the sky? How big is a boat deck beam?

Point is, there are so many variations of linear rails and their
support structure that we would need more information to give a valid
answer, IMO...

Consider that a choice can be made to use a stiffer structure with a
weaker "rail system", or a strong rail system and weaker structure;
both giving equivalent results...
