I did some trading and got ahold of a Boxford 240 training lathe. I
got both axis and the tool turret to work, but it's not talking
between the PC and the machine, plus it is dirt slow, it rapids at 26
inches a minute. Any suggestions on hardware and software that would
work with the steppers and drivers on the machine now? I noticed that
most reasonable priced softwares out there are for milling and/or do
not seem to support the tool turret. The iron is in great shape and I
like to tinker so this seems like it may be an interesting project,
any suggestion would be helpful.
Thanks,
Richard
