Yeah, I figured out the difference in motor specs pretty quick just
looking at numbers. There's a SoCal outfit selling a PC based retrofit
(http://www.cnc-in-a-box.com/) and offer two motors, 19 and 29 in/lb.
Don't know if these are direct or belt drive. But it's trying to pin
down a rating such as this that I'm after. I am assuming these are the
continuous rating...
I was told of a resource for surplus motion control stuff that is pretty
reasonable and am hoping I can talk this person into picking up three
motors for me, but I would need to give him the specs to look for. Yes,
if this source pans out and produces, I'll post the info, but I can say
up front they have no catalog nor web site. Strictly, you-pick, you-pay,
in person. :(
