EMCO Compact 5 PC Lathe Help Needed

Is there anyone on the list that is using the EMCO Compact 5 PC Lathe?
If so, please contact me, there are a couple of questions that I would like
to ask about the hookup to the PC.
The one I have had the switches on the panel all screwed up, and wires
hanging loose. Today I finished tracing them out, and hooked up everything
with jumpers, and plugged it in. Still had a problem, found a fuse blown
out, now everything works electrically. Sure did learn a lot about the
wiring inside it.
NO SMOKE CAME OUT...................
Next step is to get the old EMCO software going so that I can run the
steppers.
This is a really nice little lathe to convert over to modern software, and
drivers for larger steppers, or servos. Much more solid than the Sherline
stuff.
I plan on converting it to servos, they are on order. But I do want to get
the entire thing up and running first.
