Perhaps some of those clowns are actually members of this group and are
terribly offended by your comments.
It is more a clown who thinks every vendor in the community was not also
trying to accomplish the same thing - a universal scripting language
across all applications. Very very very useful. How many different and
incompatible scripting languages are on *nix and other platforms?
Microsoft simply was the first to accomplish what everyone was trying to
do. No one expected the community's members to produce such destructive
viruses, and no expected the way in which a great idea would be used to
cause harm. Reminds me of another recent unexpected event, perhaps the
airline industry is also a clown for making airplanes? And the gun
industry - look at all the deaths they caused. My bet is a lot of us do
not believe that one bit, and we should not blame Microsoft in the same
way.

say isnt there some kind of 'lemon law' that covers badly built
software?
maybe if everyone demands a Windows RECALL it would knock
some sense into the clowns that made it :-)
