Gearing

Hello,

Could one of the list please explain what how a Reishauer gearing
machine worked? I saw the name in a description for how the gears on a mill
were cut and they seemed pretty excited about them being cut on said
machine. To me it looks like some sort of... hmm... kitchen blending on it's
side straying steam out. Anything better than that will do me. : )
