I mean all modules for the total price
of $400 (USD).
In other words the $400 dollar package
consists of :-
CAD Module
Milling Module
Turning Module
Wire EDM module
Post Processor module
DNC Communications module
CAD is not sold seperately.
Up until recently the CAD module was used to
import/export DXF files from 3rd party CAD programs,
the user would then identify CNC contours using an
autotrace facility in the Dolphin CAD module.
A recent release of the Milling module introduced the
capability to extract Polyline and Hole Pattern
data direct from a DXF file without the need for
the customer to use our CAD module. The DOS based
Turning module still requires the CAD module to
prepare the CNC geometry but this requirement will
be removed when the Windows Turning is released.
Unlike other general purpose CAd programs Dolphin
is targetted only at CNC applications and contains such
features as the automatic conversion of True Type Fonts
to Contours which can be subsequently machined. Also
being developed as a CNC machining tool we believe that
the geometry construction is particularly powerfull.
