It may not be a blonde moment as much as it is a new thing for a refuge
from the point and click universe. Root is the name you want to log in as
so that you can change names and passwords so on the off chance that you
breezed by that part of the install try typing in root at the prompt and
<enter> twice. Or you can try root and any of the common passwords you
can think of. I don't believe there is much penalty for trying.
