The Geckos are microstepping at 10 microsteps to the step. The Camtronics
are half step I believe. The microsteps will give resistance to stalling and
over all better performance. The trade off is they cost a bunch more.

Depends upon the CNC controller software you choose. EMC will need about a
P300 as a minumum for solid performance. Others need more or less.
