Arne this is the message that I posted to the list 2 or 3 weeks ago.
"A couple of years ago I sent for some CAD-CAM shareware discs, just to see
what was available at the time, One of them was an American Program called
CNC-CAD-CAM, this generated 2D G codes, but I had no use for it at the time.
I have just taken another look at it, it seems to generate linear cuts OK
but is a bit pernickety with arcs and circles, has anyone had any experience
with this program."
This program (CNC-CAD-CAM) is available in England from PDSL Shareware
Phone 01892 663298
If anyone wants the readme file, I will I will Email it direct, I would like
to hear the opinions of anyone who is more used to using this type of
program as I have only used it a few times, and saved the data to a floppy
to transfer to the workshop machine, apparently it has the facility to send
the cnc file down to a machine on the COM port, I was more used to writing
compucut files in hpgl relative plots, and as yet have not used Gcodes
very much,
Best Wishes
