Frank,
I believe what you are seeing is the constant contouring doing it's
thing but the acceleration of your system is not set high enough
You can try to turn up the acceleration in the ini file but if you are
running steppers and you go too high they will stall. I am using servo
motors and have cranked up the acceleration which helps considerably.
Another thing you can do is put a G61 in the file you are cutting and that
will put the controller in "Exact Path" mode. This will cause the tool to
follow the exact path but will have a momentary stop at direction
changes. G64 will go back to "Continious" mode. They are modal and a
G61 will cause the controller to stay in that mode until a G64 is issued.
