Eric,
Although your conclusion is good (buy the 10k spindle if ya do lots
of alum), keep in mind that chip load is related. If your spindle is
slow, then your feed can be adjusted to match, and your parts will be
okay. You certainly aren't the first to use a Sherline with Aluminum!
