Gday,
Im just new here, and came for the DRO info not the cnc stuff.. this
may have been discussed allready, but....
Searching for flotsum/jetsum inside an old dot matrix printer
something struck me. Stepper motors to turn the paper feed and move
the print head.. must be a motor control in here somewhere.. ahh,
there it is.. hmm, centronix interface..
Isnt this stuff pretty much what you mini mill guys need to drive
your machines?
Just a thought ... and maybe a cheap way out.
