I need two gears, 2" PD X 7/8 FW & (5).375 FW.
After numerous postings I had determined I'd wind up having to buy a
gear milling cutter and do them on the Bridgeport.
Well, I won't be needing to buy the cutter now. I solved the problem
of how to cut them using CNC. How did I do it?
Simple...I redesigned the gears! The gear design is NOT condusive to
manufacturing gears intermeshing gears having different numbers of
teeth, though it might work in some cases.
