There is a huge difference between the Household and Automotive Urethanes. I
prefer the Automotive for a real good project, however, Not for some little
project. Same for the sandpaper. Wet/dry Automotive stuff Does NOT allow
silicone to cause problems. Auto paint is by far more susceptable to this
kind of problem and Autobody guys would never use a product that would cause
it.
