I Agree!!!
I agree with safety blocks too. My preference is to put in blocks for canned
cycle cancel, incremental cancel, inch mode, G54 work offset, cutter comp
cancel, and XY workplane. Have I forgotten any?? Oh yeah--turn off scaling,
mirror, and rotation.
I set up my post processor to do this automatically.
I also have a starting and ending routine in Notepad for each of my
machines, on every computer that I program on.
Makes it much easier for hand coding. (I don't normally program at the
control---too clumsy)
I just copy and paste the starting and ending routines into my code when I'm
done with the movement bits.
