Hi Jerry:
Thank you for your very thorough explanation of what to do to get
Windoze to boot to DOS.
I just edited msdos.sys and touched nothing else.
Seems to have worked OK, and the DOS is "dossy" enough to run my Defiance.
I get to the option screen to boot to DOS or to Windoze (or safe mode etc
etc)
It then runs thru its whole rigamajig and ends up at the command prompt.
Jeez, I sure envy you guys who understand this stuff!!
