Who was it that introduced this disruptive nonsense onto the list?

I know that there is little point in asking why people behave in this way,
but is there no way to identify the culprits and isolate them, if not
prosecute them for this idiotic behaviour.

Surely the sophistication inherent in the wondrous gift of the web, includes
methods which can positively determine the sources of messages, and when
these messages are clearly malicious, knowledge of the source could be used
to exclude these lunatics!

There is an odd sort of sense to be made out of some computer malice,
particularly when it is addressed to massive global corporations which are
behaving badly - maybe a world class bank which has foreclosed on Granny's
chicken farm! In a way I can relate to that sort of problem, although I
cannot condone it.

But what is wrong with this virus hoax guy, and why this list? Did a ball
screw jump into his pram and bite him when he was a baby?

I look forward to hearing your views.
