Lots of Parts

Hello Everyone.

I run a small engineering company in the UK which builds special purpose machines for the pcb industry.

We have moved over to linear motors for our own products now and I am having a clear-out of motors, ballscrews etc.

A guy who saw my local ad. and bought some parts suggested I contact this site.

Here goes (all this stuff is either unused or less than 10 hours use i.e demo's etc.). I've proposed 1/3 of the price I paid in each case but am open to offers. All prices in Pounds Sterling (I'm using my daughter's PC at home and I've just found the keyboard is set for US!!!) The number at the end of each item (if any) is the digital picture to look at.
If you want to see any picture, contact me and I will e-mail it direct to you - the files are too large to send to yahoo direct.

Frame size 23, 2 stack steppers ( 1 nm) made by Sanyo. QTY- I've lots. 20.00 each (No. 37)

Ballscrews (all in No 30)
16mm dia x 10mm pitch x 1.3metres travel.
QTY- 6 70.00 each
16mm dia x 10mm pitch x 580mm travel
Qty - 6 40.00 each
16mm dia x 5 pitch x 490mm travel
Qty - 2 35.00 each
16mm dia x 5mm pitch x 160mm travel (would maybe suit Z axis??)
Qty - 10 30.00 each
12mm dia x 10mm pitch x 45mm travel (yes only 45mm)
These were made specially for us in large volume and still cost 150.00 each but since they are unusual I have dropped the price. Could be good for precision Z axis of some sort.
Qty - I've lots 30.00 each

Kerk zero backlash lead screws. These are made in the USA (all unused) and are a low cost substitute for ballscrews where loads and useage are low. Screws are stainless.
5/8" dia x 0.1" pitch x 5.5" travel
QTY - 27 10.00 each (No. 29)

Complete axis assembly.
Cast iron base, 15mm linear rail, 16mm dia x 10mm pitch x 550mm travel, glass linear scale, opto switch end limits. Sanyo frame size 23 motor, Helical coupling, IMS 804 microstepping amplifier. This has only carried a camera around for a few hours.
QTY - 2 . How does 250.00 sound? ( No. 34 & 35)

Ditto.
This unit is similar to above but the new type of construction where the rail is formed in the base.
QTY - 1. Suggest 275.00 (No. 36)

Complete table assembly.
Flash ground steel base, 35" x 11" x 1 " , Two linear tracks and one ballscrew (16mm dia x 5mm pitch). Again, Sanyo 23 motor (with HP encoder) and IMS 804 amplifier. Opto limit switches. Table travel 350mm. Unused.
QTY - 1 250.00 (No. 44 & 45)

Motor Couplings.
Bores 1/4"-1/4" and 1/4"-10mm. All by Helical (the best!). Some stainless some ally.
QTY - I've lots. 5.00 ( No. 39)

HP rotary encoders. Part No. HEDL-5640
QTY - 10 7.50 each

Various glass scales.
1.3 m travel. 500mm travel 150mm travel
QTY - Several 25.00 each (No.41)

Small Linear bearings.
I've got quite a lot of diffent makes of these - but all with short stoke e.g 25-50 mm. Get in touch if you're interested. ( No. 42)

Large linear bearings.
These are the type used in press tools. They will take very side loads but again only have limited stroke ( 80mm). They could be used in pairs to make v.strong Z axis guides. The shafts (hardened and ground) I have are 25mm dia x 300 mm long and the bearings are 40mm OD x 80mm long with seals.
QTY - 25 shafts & bearings. 15.00 per shaft and bearing. (No.39)

IMS 804 Amplifiers
These are 4 amp microstepping (set via dip switches) by Intelligent Motion Systems in the US. They are slightly down issue now (the latest version is 805 which means 5 amps) but otherwise identical to the current offering (see their Web site)
QTY- 10 45.00 each

Parker Zeta 4 Amplifiers
These are the business! I hate to admit I paid 550.00 each for these units ( anti resonance/active damping/electronic viscosity etc). They will drive stepper motors between 0.1 and 3.5 nm torque). Look at the Parker website for full specs (www.compumotor.com/literature/pdf/pg111_zeta_fam_specs.pdf
QTY - 19 100.00 each . Unused (No. 32 & 33).

And finally, I've got various PSU's (still boxed) and some frame grabber boards for in your PC with black and white cameras if anyone fancies playing at machine vision!!

I could probably arrange to ship a bundle of the above to the US if thats where it's wanted. Just let me know. My phone number in the UK is 01260 224448

P.S. Good luck to all you hobbyists. CNC machines are great fun if you are not under pressure to make money out of them!

Regards,

Colin Barker
