There are many commercial 4- and 5-axis milling machines that have
a 1- or 2-axis swivel on the spindle head, which can be moved during a cut
under CNC control. There are VERY expensive machines, usually over
$100,000, some several times that amount. There are other machines
that have rotary axes on the work table, the 5-axis version of these
are often called "trunnion" machines.
