Ian,

Yes, the chip names help, but it is some detective work. You can
find out about it using the links that has been provided before.
I would have to check more carefully in order to say anything
more, but I think the answer is just beneath your nose. It is
probably what Windows have indicated. It is an EtherExpress card,
and linux have drivers for it.

In windows, it can't find the driver for it on your system. It
should be a driver on your CD, else you can go to
www.microsoft.com and download a driver. I would try that first,
before you set it up under Linux. I have not installed this make
of card, so I don't know what questions you would have to answer,
but it should be the common ones with interrupts etc.

You can also go to altavista, and search for EtherExpress and see
what you can find. You may find a site that holds good info about
the card.
