After the hassle of losing my hard drive's data, re-installing
Windows, restoring, etc now I can't find VBRUN300.dll.

I re-installed VB6. Still can't find the file. My .exe files are
there, but won't run without that dll. My "Learning VB" book says
VBRUN300.dll was added to my system directory during VB installation,
hmmmm. It's not there???? What a pain, I only program in VB every
couple years and hate the learning curve everytime I have to do it.

The book also says Microsoft allows distribution of this file with
your compiled applications. Wonder why I can't find it? I do have
an older computer with a previous version of VB which may have the
same dll.

Any ideas what's happening here?
