  Vytek used them, at least when I sold them 6 or 7 years ago,
they used what looked like a nylon belt, approx 1" wide, teeth facing
downward. Motors were mounted on each side of the gantry, and belt
went under 2 idlers, with loop going upwards to motors. With threaded
adjusters at the ends, they were pretty damn tight.
