I don't know anyone who warehouses these things, but the University
throws them out regularly. I pull all the optics and whatever other goodies

(gears, shafts, chains, stepper or brushless motors, HV power supples,
etc. etc.) can be easily pulled out. These things are a GOLD MINE of
really useful materials for wierd shop projects. Some of these were
$8000 - $25,000 machines.
