Hi Murry,
try any copier repair shop.
They keep some around for parts but trash
the rest, and pay to have it hauled away.
Tell them you are a hobbiest and are just
looking for parts for your toys.
I had the unique opportunity to pull one apart
thinking it was a treasure trove to goodies,
one large 110 volt AC gear motor 115 rpm
bunches of switches, both optical and mechanical
and a few steppers, all tiny ones similar to
small printers and faxmachines. I did get
a XL timing belt, used it on my drill press.
and oh yeah, black toner stuff, lots of it.
all over the floor, my clothes, everything I
touched.
BTW, if you ever get toner on you, regular soap
and COLD water, the darn stuff set at like 90 deg F
or some rediculusly low temp. it then becomes
plastic and you must wear it off. luke warm
water will set it nicely.
