is a perfectly good reason to avoid using the product! Anyway, the people I
know who are using it have had more problems than I do with Win2K. Once you
get over the initial difficulties of finding drivers that will work with
Win2K (and it does already have more drivers built in than any of the
previous windoze releases), it is actually very stable and on two machines
running it for several months, I haven't had one crash yet.....(fingers well
crossed!!! )
When you install it, you are also given the option of staying with the FAT32
filesystem rather than converting to its more normal NT filesystem so that
may give a bit more compatibility with some older software - I don't know as
I haven't tried it.
I suspect that it may be time for our correspondent to try Linux.... ;o)
