My ACME 1" dia * 5 TPI leadscrew assemblies (machined ends
provided with motor couplers and two face-to-face taper
roller bearings to fixture one end) are rolled.

BTW, the 3'*5'*18" cnc router gantry kit (based on these
leadscrews) is still coming along, slow but sure. There
is a big robotics show coming up May 10-12 that I will be
attending and giving hobbiest CNC talks at (just like last year):
