Hi Randy:
If you are looking for dental handpieces, the best place to look is
dentists offices.
Almost all the dentists switched from chuck key handpieces to keyless
pushbutton handpieces about 15-20 years ago.
All the old handpieces ended up buried in drawers in the back of the office.
They're usually free for the asking.
Find a dentist who's been in business for at least 20 years.
The best ones are Midwest Quiet-Airs.
You can also buy turbine cans from dental supply houses like Henry Schein.
They're about 100 bucks Canadian, and can be built into a custom housing
really easily.
No load speed is around 300,000 RPM and the shank size for the burs is 1/16"
Cheers

Marcus (ex dentist- now happy, mad inventor)
