two replies:
Dave,
A first guess is about $15 ea. for double sided plated thru tinned,
no components. I'll cobble together a BOM with sources.
My current board design is the bare minumum needed to get this guy up
and running. No frills.
If Allegro had offered a thru hole package for this chip, I'd already
be shipping complete solder-it-yourself kits.
Larry,
As we are wondering off topic on soldering, SMT, etc. you can reply
to me offlist: thscarince (at) hotmail dot com
How does one specify when ordering that the parts are to be oven
soldered and need to be moisture proof?
is there a trick? Forget about fixing bridges.
Thanks,
Tom Scarince
