It is not clear to me where the boundary of inappropriate postings exists
between:
-flaming a person (ad hominem attacks), Never appropriate. Banning
can result.
-slamming a product (i.e. saying, without specifics, that a product is
"crap") Be specific, and diplomatic And ask is it necessary to post this?
-stating, possibly with a reason, one's dislike for a product (i.e. "I
personally did not like xxx (because yyy)") If specific, and accurate, OK
-providing specific negative comments on a product's design or features (i.e.
"xxx doesn't have a snap-to-grid so you must spend a lot of time typing in
coordinates") If specific, accurate, and presented as an opinion or a
request. OK
