Look at Rhino 3D for your 3D designs. Then look at Rams 3D for your cam
package.

I an new to the group and planning on purchasing a table top cnc mill in the
next
twelve months. Presently I am designing in 2D using AutoCad LT2000. I am
looking
for cost effective 3D software with or without a cam package. I have head
good things about
Vector CAD for design, Millwizard CAM to generate machine programs and
Master5 to
control the machine. What software are others in the group using for their
table top mills.
I am waiting for Taig to release their closed loop system before deciding on
a mill. I would
like to select my software soon to begin the learning curve before I
purchase the mill.
