Motion control board

Ran across www.kupercontrols.com site with PCI bus card motion
controller - reported to have 10 axes step and direction, 6
quadrature inputs, etc. for $395.00 Add in 'Circuit Cellar' March
2002 issue. Wonder if anyone has seen or considered this as
alternative to STG-II card??
