Have fun with your GM project. My cousin still has the flat belt lathe
from grandfather. He can put any motor on it. I guess 1945 grandfather
used it first with a bicycle! He made valves out of bullet shells.
(Berlin was full of them./1980 we still rebuilt them for our clients and
sent them for another 25 years into the field.)
