| controlling DC motors. In this particular example they're being used to
| control Lego devices, but the theory still holds.

| For non-DC motors or for servos/steppers, I believe that the limit/home
| switches are inputs to the motor control circuit, or possibly even the PC
| driving the motor control circuit.
