by default you will need a 2nd lpt port for the aux-I/O
lpt port if I remember right it translates to the first
output bit (D0-pin2) but it can be changed
this is one of the confusing parts of EMC the lpt outputs are
maped to index-1 to 12 and the inputs are at index-1 to 5
