I have the same one, love it, works great .... however I also have a
Starret analog dial indicator which I use for centering work
in the 4-jaw on the lathe because the response time on an analog
dial indicator is immediate and the feedback easier to see as
you make the adjustments and check all the way around the part.
For say zero'ing in my mill table vice, I use the digital Mitutoyo.
Different tools for different jobs. I have both analog and
digital VOM's also and use them both.
