Went out to the mailbox and found that my New API Drives from Tim
Goldstein arrived and they sure look nice. I especially like the
Plugable Screw headers for the connections. I really hope to replace my
MicroK drives (not sure I ever fell in love with my MK4050's) with these
API's by this coming weekend. I'll be "pushing" them with a FlashCut
Control. With the new "lightning" chip of theirs (flashcut) developing
triple the pulses that the old chip did, I should be able to enjoy some
of those higher microstep settings on the driver.
If they work even half as nice as they look I will regard them as the
best deal I've gotten in a long time !
Thanks Tim !
