Hi John

Using the boot image from BDI-2.04 is fine - These have not changed at all,
so it is perfectly safe to use them.
I take it you are wanting to upgrade your existing install - In which case
you need not worry about making boot disks and so on. Once you have the 2.14
CD burnt, pop it in to the BDI machine and select the packages in the
following order (One click on each using FileManager).
kernel-2.2.18-rtl3.0
rtlinux-rtl3.0-10
rcslib-rtl3.02.12
emc-rtl3.0-2.12

When the package manager pops up, choose the upgrade option - You can also do
this from the command line :-
rpm -Uh /mnt/cdrom/RedHat/RPMS/kernel-2.2.18-rtl3.0.i586.rpm

Regards, Paul.
