Help on software

Hello there
I just order a 3 axis cnc system ,and i am planning to use it with my lathe for now
I have the lathe setup for it ,but i need software to run it ,is there free software for lathe ,or lathe and mill software ????
or can someone give me advise on a cheep software ??
