A lot of that stuff doesn't change much and Machinery's Handbook comes out
every year. You can find used copies pretty reasonable. I think I spent
$8.50 for my '53 copy. Bibliofind is part of Amazon now, but try
www.bibliofind.com. I just looked and there's at least 1 '74 edition available
for under $20. Also try half.com and local used book shops; it will probably
be cheaper if you can find it in a shop that doesn't specialize in technical
books. Or, you can buy a new version from somebody like J&L - they run specials
all of the time, but it tends to be in the $60-$80 range.
