Hi gang,
We have been busy working on a worthwhile implementation of a stepper
motor driver system based on the A3977 chip. After much effort we
have achieved a system that actually performs as claimed by Allegro.
The board is intended for use with a printer port and includes I/O
and many of the features of our parallel port accessory board.
While the actual board for a 4 axis driver was not ready in time, we
will be doing a demo at NAMES with 3 of our single axis engineering
test beds running a MaxNC milling machine.
This new board will be called the PMDX-150 and a preview is available
at http://www.pmdx.com/pmdx-150/
Hope to see many of you there.....
Cheers,
Steve Stallings
