Doug, not only a pain to work with! Wore is the dimantional
instability!.
Personally I would go to my local steelsupplier and ask him for his
oldest piece of Greycast or nodular cast profile. Often when it comes
from the wholesaler it is already 2 or 3 years old. I just got parts of
an discharged machine. One 90cm dovetail guide became a very nice flat
scraping ruler.

Is it still possible to order from Michael? Morgan (where you made the
course) in California rulers?
