Hi,
If machine would have good cnc control like Num, Siemens, Fanuc (latest model) or Fidia this would not
be the problem cause these controls have function RTCP (rotation around tool point) and with this function control needs only tool nose center point and angular dimension or at least Num have N/M function where operator can have manual jog control of
two rotating axis when machine is machining 3 axis toolpath.
These functions makes 5 axis all moust as easy as 3 axis machining.
I have been making aircraft and spacecraft parts with 5 axis machine and Num cnc more than 10 years and when we get these functions with model NUM 1060 S2 control the work has been easy.
