I would like to Biuld a small semi acurate engine dyno. I have really no
money to put into the project but I do have a small shop full of
computers and parts including printers and old drives? I was thinking
of using a stepper motor with a resistor load on it to get a voltage and
current and posibly use the frequency for rpm measurement. I am not an
engineer or a designer but am mechanically inclined and have a good
knowledge of electronics. The max hp rating will be something like 3 bph
and will usally be operated between .5 and 1.5 bph. My e-mail is
jlane@.... I look forward to any help anyone can give.
